Cali LB likes five

This past Saturday, we had a chance to watch Corona (Calif.) Centennial live for the third time this year and second time in the last three weeks. Following the game, we caught up with standout linebacker Brandon Magee who said he's mainly focusing on five schools right now.
Centennial rolled to a dominating 68-14 CIF semi-final win over Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral and will play at the Home Depot Center this coming Saturday against area rival Corona (Calif.) Santiago. The Huskies have four Div I linebackers on their squad with Magee holding the most offers at this time.

"I'm really focusing on five schools right now," Magee said. "Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Tennessee and Louisville. I haven't set up any visits yet, I just want to finish off our season, hopefully with a state title and then I start to focus more on recruiting.
"I do like those five a lot. Matt (Scott) and Ryan (Bass) talk to me about Arizona a lot and I know it would be fun to play with them. Plus they have a good baseball program and that's a big deal to me.
"I took an unofficial visit to ASU during the season and watched a game there. I liked it a lot and the coaches have been recruiting me pretty hard. Louisville and Nebraska were two of the first schools to offer me and I'm comfortable with the coaches at both places.
"Tennessee was my most recent offer in the group. That came just a few weeks ago and I was pretty excited about it. That's a big time program and the SEC is a great conference.
"I definitely want to play both sports in college and I'm also looking at getting drafted for baseball as well so I have a lot to think about. Right now though, I just want to win a CIF title and I'm looking forward to playing at Home Depot next week."
