Cali LB gets second offer

Linebacker Ryan Panapa (6-2, 258, 4.82) from Ventura (Calif.) Saint Bonaventure received his second offer yesterday May 10th. His first offer came earlier in the process from Ole Miss his second offer came from a school closer to home.
Panapa's second offer comes from the Wolf Pack of Nevada, a school with an excellent reputation being ahead of the curve.

Arizona, Washington, Florida State and San Diego State joined Nevada and Ole Miss has schools that have made contact him this spring.
Panapa is very strong as his 365-pound bench would indicate. He also has an impressive 465-pound squat and a 295-pound power clean. He also recorded an impressive 33 vertical jump for guy his size.
On the gridiron Panapa is a two-time all-state and a two-time all-league performer. He was an all-CIF selection as a junior.
Panapa may attend the NIKE Camp scheduled for Saturday May 19th in Palo Alto, but he's not sure at this time. He has no plans at this time to attend any other camps, but that may change.
What is Panapa looking for in a college?
"I want to attend a school with a good college environment and the feeling I get about the school," Panapa said. "Academics will also be an important part of my decision. I want to get a respected diploma and I will also look at the school's graduation rate."
"It may be awhile before I make my college choice," Panapa said. "I want to go through every aspect of the recruiting process and research in detail every college of interest. Going to college is a big deal."
The scouting report on Panapa is he's very determined and has an excellent work ethic. He's a good hitter and has an excellent nose for the football.
