Cali DB sets up first visit

Long Beach Poly (Calif.) defensive back Herman Davidson took an unofficial visit to San Diego State a couple of weeks and just set up his first official visit today.
Davidson, 6-3, 215 pounds forms one of the elite safety duos in the West. Along with Vaughn Telemaque, Poly has two, big physical safeties who love to hit.
San Diego State has offered Davidson and the athlete took an unofficial visit two weeks ago.
"It was great, I really loved it there," Davidson said. "I didn't see much of the campus, I basically just went for the game. That's a great stadium and I loved the area.
"Before the game, I met with the coaches and they really showed me a lot of love. There were a lot of other recruits there but I felt like they were paying a lot of special attention to me and that was cool.
"I set up my official visit to North Carolina for (Jan. 11) and I'm looking forward to that for sure. They just offered me and I was really excited to get that second offer under my belt. I also want to take my visits to San Diego State, Boise State and Nebraska."
