Cali DB could be NW bound

Playa Del Rey (Calif.) St. Bernard athlete Adam Long just returned from an official visit to Washington this past weekend. Although Long will likely take at least one more trip, the Huskies look very good right now.
Long, 5-10, 160 pounds is one of the elite two sport athletes in the state. Along with football, he's a big time track prospect and finished third in the state in the 200m a year ago.

In fact, Long's first official visit of the year was to UCLA on a track visit.
"I had a good time there but I want to sign for football so I can play both sports," Long said. "Right now, I really like Washington a lot and had a great visit this past weekend.
"I did think about committing because I was having such a good time but I didn't want to rush in to anything and I want to check out a few more schools first. Still the trip couldn't have gone any better and I really felt comfortable there.
"I got along great with the players and really liked Coach Willingham a lot. I have a visit set with Oregon State for (Jan. 18) and my plan is to make my decision following that visit. I don't have anything set up for this coming weekend. I like Cal too but I don't have a visit with them so I'm not sure what is going to happen there."
Long could play receiver or corner in college but likely projects best on the defensive side of the ball.
