Cali ATH excited for visit

Hacienda Hts (Calif.) Los Altos athlete Raymond Rodriguez was supposed to take his first official visit this past weekend to Boise State but the trip was canceled last minute. Rodriguez does have two others lined up at this time.
Rodriguez, 6-2, 240 pounds is a versatile player who could play a number of positions in college. He missed half of his senior season due to an injury but impressed enough in the game he did play to draw heavy interest from schools all over the region.

"I was supposed to visit Boise State this past weekend but it got canceled," Rodriguez said. "They called me up last Wednesday and said they got another player at my position and were canceling the visit.
"I was disappointed because I was looking forward to checking them out and also because it was too late to re-schedule another school for that weekend. Nevada wanted me to visit last weekend too and then I didn't have time to get it changed with them.
"Right now, I'm going to Louisiana Tech this weekend (Dec 14) and I have Nevada (Jan. 18) but I'm going to call the coaches at Nevada and see if I can get that visit moved up. There are a few other schools looking at me still but those are my two trip dates as of right now."
