Calhoun to visit Texas AM next

Another unofficial visit is in the works for Rivals100 to watch running back Jermie Calhoun.
The Van, Texas running back, who has put together a very impressive offer list, says that this weekend he'll be heading to Texas A&M for an unofficial visit. The Aggies will get the next chance to impress the talented Calhoun, who says he's not going to wait a long time to make a decision.

"I'm going up to A&M this weekend just to take a trip there and check out the school," Calhoun said. "I really can't tell you much about them right now, but I'm going to find out about them."
Calhoun lists a few favorite schools such as Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and LSU. Though there may be others that make there way in the mix, the Sooners maintain the lead.
"Oklahoma stands out more in my book," Calhoun said. "I like their program and when I went up there, the coaches seemed real cool. They told my parents and my teachers that they're going to make sure that I get my education up there.
"They're willing to do anything to help me."
Calhoun says that he's currently working hard in track. He's participating in three events this season including the sprint relay, the 800-meter relay, and the 100-meters.
"The sprint relay and the 100 are my best," Calhoun said. "It's kind of hard right now, but I'm working hard to get better."
So when will a commitment be made?
"I don't know yet," he said. "But, it's going to be soon."
