Cal star high on UM and OSU

Lemoore, Calif., wide receiver David Ausberry is one of the top wide receiver prospects on the West Coast. The 6-foot-4 and 200 pounder had 850 receiving yards and averaged over 15 yards per catch during his junior season. Ausberry also had over 300 yards rushing and scored 11 touchdowns.
Recruiters are certainly well aware of Ausberry.

"I have 12 offers," Ausberry said. "I'm interested in all of them."
Asked who has offered a scholarship, Ausberry said, "USC, Ohio State, Michigan, Georgia, Ole Miss, Arizona State, UNLV, there's more.
"And I like the Florida schools, but they haven't offered.
"I went to USC for a junior day. I'm going to the NIKE Combine at Stanford.
"I'm going to try to go to Ohio State's camp. And I'll go to USC's camp.
"I've got a lot of calls. Michigan and Ohio State both called from out there.
"I'd say my top five would be USC, Ohio State, Michigan, Georgia, and Nebraska."
