Cal pledge takes trips

The Cal Bears were able to land a sleeper commit from a player who has really seen his stock rise his senior season or have they?
The Bears received a soft commit from wide receiver/defensive back Thomas Decoud (6-3, 190, 4.45) from Pinole Valley, Calif.

Though Decoud did give a soft commit the Bears. He did call Ruth Robbins of RealDawg.com today from the Seattle Airport to let her know that he is taking his visit to Washington this weekend (December 20th).
It appears that Decoud has another trip on his schedule too. He is supposed to visit Oregon on January 10th.
Though Decoud is an outstanding wide receiver who averages 20 yards per catch. Cal likes him as a corner because he has the speed and athleticism to cover the taller wide receivers that are becoming so predominant in the Pac10.
The Bears have indeed received a soft commit but they are going to fight off Washington, Oregon and Oregon State (all three have offered)a to solidify the offer.
