Cal LB Heads East This Weekend

Running back JaJa Riley from San Diego (Calif.) Mission Bay was a highly recruiting prospect last season who eventually signed with Ohio State. This year Riley's former teammate, inside linebacker Scott White is drawing plenty of interest from recruiters.
"I leave tomorrow for an official visit to Oklahoma," White said on Thursday night. "We have an early game, 3:00 o'clock, and then I leave right after that."

"I have a visit scheduled to Washington October 6th, and I'm supposed to visit Notre Dame in December or January. Coach Borbelli (Irish assistant) is supposed to get back to me on that."
"And I'm looking at LSU, Ohio State, and Florida State. And I like Michigan a lot, but their not recruiting me. Those are probably my top seven."
"Oklahoma, Washington, and LSU have offered me a scholarship. Oklahoma and Washington are my top two."
White is 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds. He has a 40-yard dash time of 4.58 seconds. White, who has a 32 inch vertical jump, has made 27 tackles in two games. Mission Bay is 2-1, but White did not play in one of those games.
