Cal LB and the recruiting process

Eric Schlegal from Capistrano Valley (Calif.) Christian is rated 49th among Rivals.com inside linebackers. Schlegal has been named the league's defensive MVP the last two seasons. This 6-foot-2 and 240 pounder finds the football very well.
"I just really like playing linebacker over playing tight end," Schlegal said. "I go a hundred miles an hour and fly to the football."

With his attitude toward football he is determined to get a scholarship.
"I have been working real hard in the weight room, and the UCLA and Penn camps I attended this summer, they really helped me out," Schlegal said.
What is going on in the recruiting process with Schlegal?
"Well, UCLA has drooped off my list of team's I'm looking at, but USC is a new team that I like," Schlegal said. "My list would be Wisconsin, Colorado State, Wyoming, Penn and Texas."
"Right now me and my uncle are trying to set up visits for me to go on so I can check out the schools."
Schlegal has no offers at this time but that could change once the season start's.
