Cal DE favors Ohio State and Oklahoma

Mission Viejo defensive end Ryan Williams helped lead his team to a 13-0 record during his junior season before losing in the CIF finals, California's version of the state championship. Williams, who is also a fine student, was an all-league selection.
The 6-foot-5 and 235 pound Williams is drawing interest from recruiters from some of the country's top programs.

"I'm most interested in Ohio State and Oklahoma," Williams said. "Those are my top two."
"And I like the PAC-10 schools like Washington, Washington State, Oregon, and USC. And I like Colorado."
"Oklahoma and Colorado offered me."
Williams was asked about his top two choices.
"I was born in Washington Court House, Ohio," Williams said. "I still have family there. I like Ohio State's program, and the facilities and coaches. I went to camp there last summer. I've talked to Ohio State on the phone a couple times. I talked to coach Heacock and coach Fickell."
"I lived in Oklahoma too. They have a really good defense."
"But I'd probably have to say Ohio State's my favorite."
