Cal Commit Looking Around

Vallejo (Calif.) offensive lineman Bradis McGriff committed early in the year to Cal but said he wanted to take some trips, 'just for the fun of it.' Well after two visits and three more to go, the tackle prospect said he's now very confused about his commitment and is thinking hard about other schools.
McGriff, 6-5, 300 tripped to Arizona State two weeks ago and was at Utah last weekend. How solid is his commitment to the Bears?

"Oh man, I don't know what I'm going to do," McGriff said. "I know when I first started out, these trips were going to be for the fun of it but they've definitely given me a lot to think about. ASU was an incredible time. Just hanging out with the players and coaches on the team, seeing what the city is like, it was a great trip. I fit in so well there and I really like the direction of the program there. Utah was cool too. I went snow mobiling for the first time ever and that was a of fun. I was pretty good too, it was tough at first but I got the hang of it.
"I have visits left to Washington (Jan 9), Oregon State (Jan. 16) and Cal (Jan. 23). I've liked what I've heard from Washington and Oregon State as well. All these schools have really given me a lot to think about. I still like Cal a lot, don't get me wrong, and there's a good chance when I take my visit there, I will go ahead and re-confirm for them but right now, I have a lot of questions to answer."
