Cal commit Longshore talks to Rivals.com

If there is a better drop back quarterback in the Golden State than Nathan Longshore (6-5, 226, 4.8) from Canyon Country (Calif.) Canyon we would like to know who he is. Longshore made Cal Bear fans very happy when he decided for the Bears over a week ago.
“I’m excited about going to Cal and playing for Coach (Jeff) Tedford,” Longshore said. “I can’t wait to be part of all the positive things that is going on up there.”

“It is also nice to have my decision out of the way so I can concentrate on the rest of my senior season,” Longshore said. “Now I can continue work well with my team and get the distraction of recruiting out of the way.”
The Bears truly get a fantastic player in Longshore who brings everything you would want in a conventional drop back quarterback. He has a strong arm, makes great decisions and has tremendous leadership ability.
Cal Bears get the services of Longshore over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, Colorado, San Diego State and more.
The word was UCLA was going to offer Longshore the weekend of the Washington game.
Longshore is a devout member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and will do his mission after he graduates from high school.
Rivals.com ranks Longshore as the nation’s number seven pro-style quarterback, Rivals.com rates Longshore as the 17th best prospect at any position in the Golden State of California and he is by Rivals.com as 21st best prospect at any position in the Super West 60.
The Cal Bears get real good with the commitment of Nathan Longshore.
