Rutgers and Syracuse are the only two schools that have extended offers to Devon Cajuste thus far, but a big name in the sport may be making a push.
Notre Dame recently mailed an invitation to their junior day on March 20, and Cajuste is taking it seriously.
"I haven't really heard anything else from them," Cajuste said of Notre Dame. "But my parents want me to go to either Notre Dame or Penn State. They want me to be at one of those two schools.
"I feel the same way but I'm keeping other doors open."
Cajuste said he has been speaking to coaches from Rutgers and Syracuse, even though they aren't currently at the top of his list.
"I haven't visited Syracuse yet so I don't know too much about them yet," he said. "But when I visited Rutgers I felt very comfortable."
Cajuste said he will camp at schools this summer but isn't sure where yet. He said most schools are recruiting him as a wide receiver, but because of his 6-foot-4, 220-pound frame, they have acknowledged that he will probably play tight end in the long run.
Cajuste recently attended the Premier Showcase in New Jersey and was one of the better prospects at wide receiver using his size effectively.
