Cadogan ready for second trip

Sherard Cadogan was at Pitt over the weekend for his first official visit of the recruiting process. Now he's ready to take his second.
The 6-foot-3, 227-pound tight end from Cherry Hill (N.J.) Camden Catholic will be taking a trip to Big Ten country to check out another school that he calls a finalist.

"I'm just taking my officials right now," Cadogan said this week. "This weekend I'm going to Wisconsin. The only coach I've been talking to is my recruiting coach. I'm excited about getting out there.
"I hear they have a great campus. I haven't been out there yet, but I hear the campus is great. They have a big stadium and a great football team. I'll just go see the game and get a feel for the environment around me. I just want to get that feeling, you know, around the campus. Then I'll go from there."
Though he has already given the trip to Pitt good reviews he couldn't resist talking about it again.
"I had a lot of fun," he recalled. "It was great. I got to see a game with 60 or 65,000 people there. I got to get that feeling. The fans are great. I hung out with the players and talked to them a lot. I saw how they feel about the coaches and how they are during practice and the games. It was a lot of fun."
Following the trip to Wisconsin, Cadogan will take official visits to West Virginia and South Carolina on consecutive weekends. Then on October 23 he will take his final official visit to Michigan State.
