Cadogan back from Michigan State

Though he had already taken an official visit to East Lansing back in October, three-star tight end Sherard Cadogan decided to take another unofficial visit to Michigan State over the weekend.
Cadogan's father made the last trip to Michigan State with his son, and the 6-foot-3, 227-pound prospect from Cherry Hill (N.J.) Camden Catholic wanted his mother to be able to see the school before he makes his decision.

"It was good," Cadogan said on Sunday after returning home. "I brought my mom with me, since my dad went for the official visit. She loved it. It's gonna be a hard decision. It was a great trip.
"I want to go (to school) for engineering, so we talked to a teacher and saw their facility. They showed my mom around and I got to meet more of the players and some recruits that are already committed. She got to talk to some of the players, and we talked to all the coaches. It was some of the same stuff as last time."
The five finalists for Cadogan are Michigan State, South Carolina, Pitt, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Cadogan is planning an official visit -- his last of the process -- to South Carolina.
In-home visits are the next step in the recruiting process.
"I want to wait until after I talk to the coaches one time before I make my decision," he said. "There are a lot of them that want to come in for in-house visits and talk to my parents and me one last time. We'll ask them more questions if we have any. I'll probably make my decision right after the in-house visits."
Cadogan said he is not leaning to any of the schools on his list of finalists. He believes the coaches that are recruiting him will set up their in-home visits next week. He thinks they will be done with those visits by the following week.
