CA sleeper QB has a cannon

No quarterback out West this year boast a stronger arm than Turlock (Calif.) Pitman signal caller Colin Kaepernick. At the recent Nike Camp at Stanford as well as the EA SPORTS Elite 11 workout the following day at Cal, Kaepernick drew raves after several of his throws whistled by and he's a player who should definitely be recruited at the Div I level.
Kaepernick, 6-4, 175 pounds has a thin frame but a whip of an arm. He was particularly impressive during the Sunday workout and has arguably one of the five or six strongest arms we've seen during the entire Nike tour this year.

As a junior, Kaepernick threw for 1,056 yards and 15 touchdowns with just four picks. He plays in a wing T offense and doesn't get to air it out too much but with his size, arm strength and upside, he's a player who should definitely be recruited at the Div I level.
Kaepernick received calls last may from San Jose State, where he'll camp this weekend, Harvard and Boise State. Stanford and Wisconsin have also been by to see him at the school. In addition to the camp at San Jose State, Kaepernick will also camp with Oregon (June 19), Boise State (June 20-21), Stanford (June 24-25) and Wisconsin (June 27-28).
In addition, the athlete is also a top pitching prospect and will try out for the prestigious Area Code Baseball games June 11-12. Academically, Kaepernick is carrying a 4.2 GPA and scored a 1650 on the new SAT.
