BYU still looking good for Fuga

Huntington Beach (Calif.) Edison is having a memorable season currently ranked No. 3 in the state and has won nine straight games. The only loss for Edison came against Hawaii power Kamehameha when they played without all-state quarterback Brian Schrock. The top recruit for the Chargers this year is two way lineman Romney Fuga who looks very good for one MWC school.
Fuga, 6-2, 280 pounds stars at both nose guard and offensive tackle and is a big reason for the Chargers success this year. He's very strong and his wrestling background (4th in the state a year ago) has helped him a great deal with his overall quickness and balance.

One of the bigger surprises to us this year has been the lack of offers for Fuga. He's a player with the talent to play at the high major level yet he recently picked up only his fourth offer from New Mexico.
"BYU, San Diego State, Colorado State and New Mexico are my offers right now," Fuga said. "I'm really just focusing on my season right now and I don't plan on setting up any visits until after we're finished. I won't have a lot of time because as soon as football is over, I go right into wrestling. I'm still leaning to BYU right now but I'm not ready to make a commitment to anywhere until I check out a few other places."
Fuga is LDS and said he would like to take his Mormon mission after high school but wasn't sure exactly when he would do it.
