BYU lands a good one

With two older brothers on the team and his dad on the coaching staff, it was expected BYU would be tough to beat for Provo (Utah) Timpview lineman Matt Reynolds. As expected, Reynolds announced for the Cougars earlier today.
"Yeah, he chose BYU over ASU," Reynolds mother said. "BYU is close to home for him and it didn't hurt that Lance (Matt's dad) is the line coach there. Can you imagine if he went anywhere else."

Reynolds, 6-6, 270 pounds is a dominant player who earned Student Sports sophomore and junior All-American honors the past two seasons. He could play on either side if the ball but we love his upside on the offensive line.
Reynolds only visits were to BYU and ASU although he had offers from schools all over the country. Still several schools backed off recruiting the lineman thinking it was a waste of time since he had so many family connections at BYU.
Along with his father, his older brother Lance Jr. and Dallas are also on the Cougar squad. Reynolds also has a younger brother, Houston, who is a current sophomore lineman at Timview and is already 6-1, 270 pounds.
