Position: Quarterback
Size and Speed: Erbstroesser is 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds. He has been clocked at 4.91 seconds in the 40-yard dash last weekend.
Statistics: Erbstroesser completed 61-of-122 passes for 804 yards as a junior.
Favorite Schools: Brigham Young, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Kansas, Baylor and Missouri have expressed interest in Erbstroesser to date.
Skinny: "Houston started the third game of the season last year," Erbstroesser's older brother Pace said. "Then he took over the rest of the season as the starter. The only problem is the offense they run doesn't throw the ball much. They are working on the shotgun formations some this spring in hopes of installing the pass a little bit more this fall."
Erbstroesser was in attendance at the Elite 11 regional quarterback camp last weekend.
"The camp organizers moved him up from the second group of players after he got started. They moved him to the top group which was about 10 players."
Erbstroesser also excels at baseball.
"He's probably as good a prospect in baseball," Erbstroesser said. "He plays outfield and has been starting since his sophomore season."
Some schools have already expresed interest through the coaches.
"Texas Tech and Brigham Young have talked to his coach. They are probably at the top of the list right now. BYU even came to one of his baseball games to watch him. Baylor, Kansas and Missouri have all written him handwritten letters. But so far, no schools have offered scholarships."
Erbstroesser plans to camp at BYU for sure this summer and possibly squeeze in a couple more camps as well.
"Hopefully after the camps this summer, he'll be able to wrap up this whole thing so he can focus on his final year of football."
