Byrd to play college football close to home

Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain defensive lineman Terrill Byrd made an official visit to Toledo and had one scheduled to Bowling Green this past weekend. However he decided he wanted to play his college football in his hometown and didn't visit the Falcons.
"I'm going to Cincinnati," Byrd said. "It's close to home. I felt like I can be home and play college football.

"Overall I like the academics, the coaches, the players, everything really.
"I might go on a visit to Akron this weekend, but I'm pretty set on going to Cincinnati."
The 6-foot-0 and 280 pound Byrd was a force as Colerain charged through the season routing most opponents. Byrd made 76 tackles including nine sacks as Colerain went 15-0 and won the Ohio big school state championship.
