Byrd thinks team has found its groove

Fort Bend (Texas) Hightower offensive lineman Tyrone Byrd feels his team has finally clicked.
"We are sitting at 2-2," the 6-foot-6, 260-pound Byrd said. "It took us a little bit, but I think we may have finally clicked during our last game. We were going along just great there in the last game."

The three-star rated Byrd feels he's playing well too.
"I think I’m doing real good," he said. "We don't keep any offensive line stats or anything, but I feel good out there. I'm making my blocks and all that stuff."
The list of schools calling the Byrd home remains the same.
"It is still about the same," he said. "Oklahoma State, Colorado, Iowa, Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh and UCLA are the main schools."
Byrd has yet to line up any official visits.
"Some schools have tried to line some up," he said. "But, I’m waiting until our season is over before I do it. I've decided to worry about the season first and the recruiting process will take care of itself."
