Byrd continually changing his top five

Fort Bend (Texas) Hightowner offensive lineman Tyrone Byrd has five schools at the top of his list. But, are those the same five that will be there tomorrow?
“It changes every day,” the three-star rated offensive tackle said. “I like five or six schools the most right now. But, I’m not ready to say them yet. But, I would say that I sort of have a final five.”

The 6-foot-5, 252-pound Byrd has scholarship offers from schools across the country.
“It really is the same places,” he said. “I’m really keeping everything open. I’m not eliminating anyone at this point.”
Byrd kept busy with summer football camps over the past couple months.
“I went to Oklahoma State’s camp and Miami’s camp. I was named the offensive lineman MVP at the Miami camp.”
Don’t look for a quick decision for the No. 26 rated offensive tackle in America. Despite offers from Colorado, Colorado State, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, UCLA, LSU North Carolina, Iowa and Notre Dame, Byrd is planning to take all the trips he is allowed.
“My gameplan is to wait until I take my visit,” he said. “But if something jumps out and says this is the place, then I’ll do it.”
