Bynum talks about recent trips

Terrell Bynum recently returned from a trip with his Team 19 7on7 squad through Texas and the Midwest and the 2017 four-star wide receiver said he had a good handle on which schools really stood out the most.
"It was a good trip," Bynum said. "If I had to rank the trip experience I would go Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Texas.

"For some of the schools I didn't talk to the coaches much, they just gave us a tour and they were talking more to (Team 19 coach) Keyshawn (Johnson)."
Nebraska offered the Anaheim (Calif.) Servite standout and that was only one of the reasons why the Huskers stood out most to Bynum, who had 31 catches and five touchdowns in his sophomore season.
The message delivered from coach Mike Riley was maybe even more memorable.
"I just loved on the trip that they treated us like actual players and showed us how it would be if we were really there," Bynum said.
"I loved the speech that coach Riley gave us. He said, 'This school might not be the best fit for you. You need to find the best school for you because you're going to be there for four years,' and to not let a lot of other people tell you where to go because at the end of the day you have to be the one to wake up in the morning and put the work in.
"He said, 'I hope this is the best school for you but if it isn't you have to choose the best school for you so you don't have any doubts.'"
That upfront honesty stuck with the 2017 receiver.
"Every coach tries to sell their school as the best school but it was kind of great that he told us how it's all about what you like and where you want to go," Bynum said.
During his recent excursion, the Anaheim Servite standout was offered by USC. It's definitely big getting an offer from the Trojans and something Bynum will seriously consider but he's not rushing to name any favorites yet.
"It was really big because I really liked USC earlier in my life," Bynum said. "At first, I didn't think they were really big on me but coach (Tee) Martin earlier in January told me I was probably one of the best receivers in our class. After that I didn't talk to him much.
"It's way too early for favorites. I haven't even seen (the USC) campus really. I'm going to sit down with my parents and see what's best for me but I'm not even going to release a top five until next year."
So far, Bynum has landed offers from Arizona State, Colorado State, Illinois, Louisville, Nebraska, San Diego State, USC and Washington State.
