Bynum sees Pac-12 interest

Terrell Bynum had a terrific sophomore season and he's playing with Team 19 on the 7on7 circuit for more exposure in the coming months.
The Anaheim (Calif.) Servite receiver said he's had some preliminary talks with the UCLA coaching staff so far and he's hopeful his recruitment gets even busier soon.

"UCLA has been talking to me," Bynum said. "I called coach (Eric) Yarber the other day.
"They want me to come up on an unofficial and maybe something will happen from there. Maybe I could get an offer."
The Bruins are showing the most early interest in Bynum and some other schools have sent letters but with the 2015 recruiting class wrapping up the Servite receiver might have to wait a couple more weeks to see added attention.
Bynum, one of the top performers at this past weekend's Team 19 tryouts, said an offer from UCLA would definitely mean a lot since he likes that program plus it could open up other doors for more schools to get involved.
"That would be great," Bynum said. "My recruitment would be taking off from there.
"Since the schools can't really contact me yet I think it will really start taking off in the spring. That's when I really feel like my recruiting will take off but UCLA will probably be first."
In his sophomore season, Bynum finished with 31 receptions for 391 yards and five touchdowns in eight games.
