Bynum seeing major interest

Terrell Bynum has already proven to be one of the top 2017 prospects in the West and the Anaheim (Calif.) Servite wide receiver is starting to hear from two new schools. Cal and Notre Dame have become involved in his recruitment and those are definitely big-time programs that Bynum will consider as his recruitment moves forward. He has a lot of other options but those two would move up with offers.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Bynum is really focused on having a big junior campaign and then he thinks his recruitment could take off even more. Already with more than a dozen offers, the 2017 four-star prospect has plenty of options but is still looking for others as this season continues. UCLA and USC have to be considered two of the early frontrunners in his recruitment but he's planning a wide-ranging group of visits this fall which will include stops at USC, UCLA, Cal, Notre Dame and Miami, which could be a dark horse in his recruitment.
IN HIS WORDS: "I'm high on Cal and they have been keeping in touch a lot," Bynum said. "Although I don't have the offer they like me a lot. Notre Dame hasn't been extremely in contact but I've been hearing from my coach, Oscar McBride, who went there that an offer is coming soon."
RIVALS' REACTION: It's so early and so much could happen because Bynum has the potential to be a national recruit but USC and UCLA have to be out in front at this point. Miami is a school to watch. Servite's quarterback, Tyler Lytle, has already been offered by the Hurricanes as well and if Bynum makes it down there for a game this season then that could sway his opinion.
