Bynum may decide on visit

Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines linebacker Kenneth Bynum has planned his first official visit.
"We were going to take a trip to Illinois next week but have decided not to go yet so the first visit I am going on is October 15th to Cincinnati," Bynum said. "I know I definitely want to go to Illinois too. Those are the main two schools I am looking at, but I may take a couple of other visits just to take them."

The 6-foot-1, 213-pound linebacker, who has eight offers to his name, said that one school has been showing him the most interest over the past couple months.
"I hear the most from Cincinnati," Bynum said. "I hear from Coach (John) Jancek, Coach (T.J.) Weist, and I got a call from Coach Butch Jones as well. They tell me it is a great school and they pretty much tell me all the benefits of coming there. They have told me a lot of positive things about the school. They also said they aren't deep at linebacker so they could use a guy like me."
The three-star linebacker believes that he may be making his decision during his first official visit.
"Cincinnati is in the lead," Bynum said. "They need linebackers and offer early playing time. Also, they have my major. I think right about now the official visit will close the deal, if I like the school, then it could happen. I like the coaches and they like me. They have been sending me mass letters telling me how much they want me and like me."
Bynum's offer list consists of North Carolina, North Carolina State, Rutgers, Southern Miss, Stanford, and West Virginia, in addition to Cincinnati and Illinois.
