Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Boyd Anderson linebacker Josh Bynes has the potential to be one of the top inside linebacker prospects in the Sunshine State in the class of 2007.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Bynes racked up 147 tackles last season.
"I rely on my vision," he said. "I see a lot of stuff before it happens. I react and do what I am supposed to do and have a lot of ability at linebacker. I just go out and play."

On the recruiting front, Bynes has picked up an early scholarship offer and hopes that several more are on the way.
"I've got an offer from Duke and Florida Atlantic said that they are going to offer," he said. "But I am waiting on the big boys. I've been talking with coaches from Pittsburgh, Florida, Florida State and Miami. I've got their numbers and have been calling them and they have been sending me text messages."
Bynes added that he had formulated an early list of five schools that he considered to be at the top of his list.
"Miami, Georgia, Florida, Iowa and LSU or Florida State," he said.
Of those, one clearly stands out.
"I've always grown up a big fan of Miami," he said. "I've always liked Miami."
Bynes wants to play inside linebacker at the next level, but isn't opposed to playing another position, like defensive end.
Bynes will head to Coral Gables on March 4 for the Hurricanes' Junior Day. He also plans on going to the Florida State Junior Day and to the Miami NIKE Camp on April 9.
