Butler players prepare for visits

Butler County (Kan.) Community College finished its regular season with a surprising upset loss in the conference playoffs to Dodge City (Kan.) Community College.
And now that the regular season is over, it's time for recruiting to heat up in El Dorado, Kan. Grizzly coach Troy Morrell said several of his top players are going to take official visits this weekend and more offers are coming in for others.
Morrell confirmed that four-star running back Kenny Wilson will visit Nebraska this weekend, three-star offensive lineman Sherrone Moore visits Oklahoma and two-star receiver Anthony Parks was originally set to visit Oklahoma State, but he is now going to visit on December 9.

Morrell said there is a good chance that Moore might commit this weekend, and Nebraska is the front-runner for Wilson. Florida and Tennessee are also showing Wilson some interest.
Scholarship offers are starting to come in for several other Butler players.
"(Cornerback) Blake Bueltel has picked up offers from SMU and he just got one yesterday from Bowling Green," Morrell said. "He's going to start lining up visits shortly to those schools. Elbert Mack also has been offered by Troy, so he's starting to heat up some, too."
Despite a solid senior season, quarterback Paul Eck hasn't earned a scholarship offer yet and could decide to return next season and play again for the Grizzlies.
