Butler hearing from SEC

Treyjohn Butler still has a top three of Arizona State, California and Stanford but a lot of other major programs from across the country are getting more involved so he's not ready to make a decision.
The four-star cornerback from Etiwanda, Calif., seemed especially excited to hear more from Texas A&M and he said if the Aggies offer then his top list could get switched up.

"It got really crazy," Butler said. "I thought it was going to calm down but all these schools from the SEC showed up - LSU, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, even Florida - and then schools in the Big 10 and Big 12.
"A lot of schools want to know if I would go out East and I told them that is no problem. Texas A&M keyed in on the fact that they have my specific major which is mechanical engineering so if they offer then it will be important."
The four-star prospect who has been limited this offseason looked the part Saturday at the Charter Oak 7v7 Passing Tournament and he said some major unofficial visits could be coming up.
Butler wants to get to Arizona State for the first time and then over the summer he's thinking about trips to Washington, Illinois and some schools in Texas.
His top three still stands but watch out for Texas A&M if Butler is offered.
"Right now my top three is still ASU, Cal and Stanford with high interest in Texas A&M if they offer," Butler said. "That's a really big school I would consider. Right now I'm getting a chance to check everybody else out."
Because so much could still happen, Butler does not want to commit yet. There has been some chatter that Stanford has a slight edge in his recruitment but the four-star said no team is in the lead.
"There are so many different aspects so there are still a lot of schools," Butler said.
