Busy week for Florida WR/LB

Three-star Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver/linebacker John Dunlap has got all five of his official visits in place now, and is preparing to set out on his first trip this weekend.
“My first visit is Saturday at N.C. State,” he said. “I’m real excited about that one. I’m ready to get out and start seeing all these schools.

“After that one, I’ll be going to Virginia Tech on Dec. 12. In January, I have Florida State on the 9th, Florida on the 16th and Miami on the 23rd.”
Is there a favorite at this point?
“No. They’re all equal right now,” Dunlap said. “They’re all great schools. It will come down to where I feel the best on my official visits.”
Dunlap (6-3, 215, 4.55) said he’s being recruited as a wide receiver or linebacker by the Wolfpack, Hokies and Hurricanes. The Gators and Seminoles are targeting him as a linebacker.
Virginia Tech and N.C. State made in-home visits on Tuesday night. He’s expecting to play host to Florida and Florida State on Thursday.
“I’ve got tonight off,” he laughed. “But it’s a busy week for me. On Friday, we play for the state championship against Madison County.”
Dunlap said he recorded 25 catches for 400 yards and nine touchdowns during the regular season. He wasn’t sure what his updated defensive statistics were.
