Busy time for Viramontes

Victor Viramontes recently backed off his pledge to Michigan and since that time a bunch of top-end schools have reached out.
The Norco, Calif., three-star dual-threat quarterback who is also being recruited as an athlete by many schools will probably take his time through the holidays and schedule some visits in January.

Plenty of interest has come in so Viramontes is excited about what's in store.
"I've been talking to UCLA, I've been talking to Virginia, I've been talking to a lot of those schools, Oregon, Indiana, Hawaii, that's all I can think of right now," Viramontes said.
Later, he added Ohio State and Miami as two other teams that have reached out through social media.
As for upcoming visits, nothing is finalized yet but he could be seeing a bunch of Pac-12 schools soon.
"I'm supposed to take a visit to Cal, UCLA, Utah and Oregon," Viramontes said. "Those are pretty big.
"Right now, those are all the schools I'm talking to so my interest is with all the schools that are talking to me at this point. Some of them kind of hinted at an offer so all you can do is just wait and let time do its thing."
There might be a little bit of a delay with the holidays coming up. But Viramontes will continue to talk with coaching staffs, work through a visit schedule and figure things out relatively soon.
"They were saying how I'm back in the recruiting process and they said they want to take our time, build a bond and a solid relationship," Viramontes said.
