Busy time for Severin

Canaan Severin has blown up in recruiting circles lately and now has an offer list that would make most other prospects in the Northeast envious.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound athlete from Worcester Academy in Massachusetts now has verbal offers from Boston College, UConn, Iowa, NC State, Penn State, Rutgers and Virginia.
Recently Severin visited UConn and that went well. He also caused some folks to take notice when he went on the record and said Penn State will be one of the schools at the top of his list whenever he starts to narrow things down.

What's next for Severin?
"I'm going to the NIKE Camp out at Stanford on May 14," Severin said, noting he's going to make the most of the opportunity and spend as much time at Stanford and with the coaches as he can.
"They seem really interested in me."
While Stanford hasn't offered yet Severin is optimistic. If the Cardinal does offer they could find themselves in that top tier of schools.
"I like them a lot because they're top notch in football and they're a top five school academically, even counting Ivy League schools," he noted.
Severin is an early member of the Rivals250 to Watch in 2012.
