It is a huge offer for the 2016 three-star athlete from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei but the Irish have been hinting one could be coming especially after visiting him at school last week.
Notre Dame delivered on Tuesday and others might be on the way.
"It's starting to pick up a lot actually," Robinson said. "There are a lot of schools that are starting to come in really fast and they're starting to recruit really hard.
"Notre Dame, Nebraska, Boise State are all coming in more and then Notre Dame, Boston College and Cal visited school (Friday). It seems like they're super interested. They told me they're really impressed with my film and love the way I play. They said they're going to get the process started and they're going to make a move soon."
So far, the Mater Dei standout has been offered by Notre Dame, Boston College, California, Duke and Washington and more could be on the way because Robinson said interest has picked up. He's definitely happy with how things are going and doesn't want to rush on naming any frontrunners yet.
"It's awesome especially since it's still relatively early," Robinson said. "It's great to have big schools like that coming right now and saying that to me. It feels really good.
"Right now it's really open for me. I'm not looking to make an early decision so with the way schools are coming I'm going to keep it open for a while."
This off-season Robinson said he would like to visit Notre Dame, Washington and Duke but no trips have been scheduled at this point.
