Busy spring for Howard

Two-star cornerback Titus Howard of Clairton, Pa. has had a successful Spring Evaluation Period to this point, with several offers coming his way. Aside from the schools who have offers, many other schools have also stopped by Clairton recently to check on the athletic corner.
"Recruiting is good," said Howard. "Rutgers, Michigan State, Stanford, Youngstown State and Akron have stopped by. I think that's all."

Aside from this list of schools, Howard has also picked up offers this month from Pittsburgh, Connecticut, Toledo, Youngstown State and Arkansas State.
"It's a great feeling, because to be honest, I didn't think I was going to have this many and still have more to come," said Howard, who is 6-foot-2 and 165-pounds. "I think Illinois is close to offering too."
Howard has not taken any recent visit, but will hit the road this summer to visit a few schools with his SWAG 7-on-7 travel team. While also working out with his 7-on-7 team, Howard has worked on improving certain parts of his game.
"I'm mostly working on improving my footwork and my speed," said Howard. "But mainly I'd say my footwork."
Howard mentioned that he is looking to make a final decision towards the middle of his senior season.
