Busy spring ahead for R100 OT Williams

Offers continue to pile up for Rivals250 offensive lineman Jauan Williams. The Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll stand out added another SEC offer the other day.
"LSU puts a lot of people in the NFL," said the 6-foot-6, 291-pound Williams. "I called coach Grimes, the offensive line coach. He messaged me a lot over the last few days. He told me the school is good and that I should come down. I think they have a lot of linemen in the NFL. I met him at Virginia Tech during my freshman or sophomore year. We're just trying to build a relationship. I think he has kids and one of them is really young. I don't know much about the program but he was telling me about how the program is good. I'm going to do some more research on LSU."

Williams will spend much of the spring and summer on the road.
"I'm going to go to Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State and I think I want to go to LSU," he said. I will eventually make a date for them."
Williams' offer sheet features more than 30 of the nation's top programs but he is making progress narrowing them down.
"I don't have any leaders right now but I think I'm getting closer to naming a top ten," Williams said. "I think I'm going to announce it after the season. I'm probably going to take some official visits during the season."
Williams will be playing in the upcoming Under Armour All-America Game.
