Busy camp season ahead for Sedlacek

Westport (Conn.) Staples offensive tackle Ryan Sedlacek is kicking off his summer camp circuit this week. The 6-foot-4, 292-pounder plans to head to at least five schools in the next couple weeks including programs in the Big Ten, ACC and Big East.
"I'm starting in the middle of this week on Wednesday going to Illinois," he said. "After that I'm going to Penn State, Connecticut and the following week I'm going to boston College and Rutgers.

"I'm going up on these visits to see the facilities and academic support. All these schools are very interested too and just want to see me in person before possibly offering."
Currently Illinois continues to be the lone offer for Sedlacek at this time.
Does he have any favorites right now?
"It's really the schools I'm visiting are the ones I'm very interested in plus the entire Ivy League," he said. "I like those schools because I've visited most of them and they are all great academic schools and have good football."
With possibly offers coming from his favorites in the near future, is the Connecticut prospect any closer to a decision?
"I would say I'll probably make a decision not too long after these visits," he said. "Once I see which schools offer then I'll know more. I do want to get it done by the end of the summer."
