Bussey names a few favorites

Athlete Nathan Bussey out of Washington (D.C.) Dunbar still holds a lone offer from Illinois. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder has been receiving his share of interest. Does Bussey have any early favorites?
"I'm getting a lot of mail from Michigan State, UCLA, Stanford, Kansas State, Vanderbilt, Duke, Syracuse, Northwestern, Tennessee, North Carolina and West Virginia," he said. "I'd say I kind of like Duke, Stanford, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Northwestern and Kansas State the most.

"Duke and Stanford send me a lot of mail and I like both of their academic and athletic programs. Vanderbilt and Northwestern offer a great combination and Northwestern is looking at me as a quarterback. As for Kansas State, they have a nice football program and UCLA is in California and that interests me a lot."
Currently most of the schools are recruiting Bussey as an athlete.
"I'd prefer to play quarterback in college, but if they recruit me for something else I'll play that for them instead."
The D.C. athlete was named all-league, all-conference and all-district as a junior after accounting for 3,200 yards of offense and 42 touchdowns.
"I think I really stand out from other players because I make things happen," he said. "I have a good ability to throw and run the ball."
Bussey is planning to attend the Elite College Combine and the Nike Camp at Penn State this spring. This summer he is looking at heading to Duke's camp and possibly Illinois, Northwestern and Michigan State.
