Bush favors Tigers, Herd

A top defensive end prospect from North Carolina is considering his options, and it's beginning to look like he'll spend his college years out of state.
Jeff Bush, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound lineman from Fayetteville (N.C.) Jack Britt has two favorites, and neither of them is located in his home state.

"Clemson and Marshall are one and two right now," said Bush. "Those two are definitely my favorites, and I'm have a really hard time deciding which one I like more.
"Coach Bowden turned things around this year, and when they beat Tennessee in that bowl game it was a great way to end the season. Their program has a lot of momentum in their favor. I like Marshall's team because I know I could win eight, nine or ten games every year I'm there. They beat Kansas State this year, so they can compete with the bigger names."
Bush has also received interest from NC State, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Virginia and Maryland, but his only offer at the time is from Clemson. Is that impacting his mindset?
"It's something to consider, not because the others haven't offered, but because it means Clemson wants me a lot. I feel fortunate for that, and that definitely helps them out. I still think others will offer before everything is finished."
Bush plans on setting up official visits to his two leaders in the near future, and will make a decision afterwards.
