Burton watches USC workout

Brandon Burton has reported three new offers but in fact the 2016 athlete just didn't know those schools had gotten involved a while ago and so he has more programs to consider.
The Gardena (Calif.) Serra recruit has now added Arizona State, Cal and Miami to his extensive offer list and he said at this point he's just taking in all offers and will figure out which school fits him best later on.

"I was told by one of the coaches at my school that I already them," Burton said of his newest offers. "I just never knew about it. They were from a while back."
Those three teams along with Colorado, Florida, Florida State, UCLA, USC and Utah have offered the 6-foot, 193-pound prospect who is expected to play safety and wide receiver this season. More major interest has come in recently as well from big-time teams.
"Other schools that are poking around are Alabama, I talked to them, and Michigan," Burton said. "Those two are both saying they want me to play offense. This year I'm going to start on both sides of the ball and on multiple special teams."
It remains too early for favorites but Burton, along with a bunch of his Serra teammates, stopped by to see USC's fall practice earlier this week.
There are clearly changes in place and Burton said he was definitely intrigued by what the new staff was implementing.
'It was really live," Burton said. "They were flying around and they were making a whole bunch of plays. They ran over 200 plays at practice so they were getting after it.
"Right now it's too early to tell on any school. I'm still weighing my options."
