Burton still plans five trips

Brandon Burton missed his first official visit earlier this season to Ohio State but the four-star athlete still plans to see the Buckeyes this season.
"It's going to be rescheduled most likely for Michigan State," Burton said. "The national championship (is important) but they're grinders. They're all out there and they get after it every day in practice.

"I watch all the videos that coach (Chris) Ash sends me and they get after it every day."
All of Burton's other official visits are still planned according to the Gardena (Calif.) Serra standout.
"I'm still set in stone for Oklahoma on October 3, I'm going to head out there after my game," Burton said.
"The week after that I go to Florida State when they play Miami and then the week right after that I'm going to Notre Dame when they play USC so I have three big ones in a row just weighing my options."
The fifth one is to Alabama in early November and that is still in the works as well.
Other than those five schools, UCLA definitely is in strong contention with Burton, rated as the third-best athlete in the class since he could play receiver or safety in college.
The location of UCLA is ideal for Burton and he likes how the Bruins are recruiting him, too.
"They're very high on my list right now," Burton said. "They're recruiting me on both sides of the ball and special teams, too, punt returner. It's just a blessing to have all these schools coming after you."
A decision by the four-star athlete is not expected until after the season at the earliest or he could wait until the Under Armour All-America Game.
