Burton planning numerous visits

Brandon Burton is taking an unofficial visit to UCLA on Wednesday and he's serious about the Bruins especially since they're recruiting him so diligently.
The four-star from Gardena (Calif.) Serra said he remains open to all programs but he appreciates how hard UCLA assistant coach Demetrice Martin is recruiting him so he's going to take a much closer look at Westwood.

"I'm really looking at UCLA but I'm open to all schools," Burton said. "I want to go over there and check out what they have to offer and how early I can play and the education and everything. I want to check everything out over there.
"They have been recruiting me very hard. Coach Martin is always talking to me, always staying in contact with me, always trying to get me to come up to the school. He wants me to be around the program."
Burton is serious about UCLA but there are many others involved. Many top Serra prospects end up at USC and the Trojans are highly in the running for Burton as well.
The four-star who shined at receiver and safety this past weekend at the Las Vegas Pylon 7v7 and the recent Rivals Camp Series event in the same city wants to take a bunch of other unofficial visits this off-season.
Florida State, Arizona State, Oklahoma and Ohio State are on the list and Burton said the Buckeyes just offered so he's especially interested in them.
"Ohio State is big because they're always in contention especially with a great coach like Urban (Meyer)," Burton said. "He's always a winner, he always wins championships, so that's going to be a factor."
Burton's father lives in Florida but that might not be a major consideration in his recruitment. He's also a close friend of Florida State five-star QB commit Malik Henry. That could be given a closer look.
"I could go to the school that's far away from everybody," Burton said. "I'm just trying to make the best decision for myself.
"(Henry going to FSU) is a big thing. He's one of my best friends. I grew up with him. He's always trying to recruit me to go to Florida State."
