Brandon Burton traveled an hour up the road Saturday night to check out UCLA at the Rose Bowl and though the Bruins are local, he said he is considering using his fifth and final official visit on the nearby school.

The four-star athlete from powerhouse Gardena (Calif.) Serra is set to take his fourth visit this coming weekend to Ohio State for the massive matchup against Big Ten rival Michigan State. He has previously been to Oklahoma (Oct. 2), Florida State (Oct. 9) and Notre Dame (Oct. 16).

IN HIS WORDS: "You know, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the defending national champion team is about," Burton told Rivals.com. "I can't wait to see if they can hold it down and have a good game. I'm trying to check out the campus -- I've heard it's beautiful and there is a great environment.
"Right now I'm looking at UCLA, Arizona, Stanford, Arizona State and California for that final official visit, and I'll probably make that call after my visit to Ohio State next week. UCLA is a rising program with a great young quarterback, so that's definitely appealing. For me it's not wasting an official visit because there is nothing like getting to go to a school, sitting down with the coaches and getting a feel for everything for 48 hours."
WHAT'S NEXT?: The Rivals100 prospect said the recruiting process has gotten real stressful with so many programs in pursuit, so he's antsy to get the trips done with so he can sit down and arrive at a decision. Burton and Serra continue their run in the CIF Southern Section Pac-5 Division playoffs on Friday night against Mater Dei, with the winner advancing to the semifinals. He is also scheduled to play in the Under Armour All-American Game in January.
