Burrell previews Wisconsin official

Four-star defensive back Eric Burrell is in the middle of his official visit schedule. In mid-September the Owings Mills (Md.) McDonogh star took an official visit to Nebraska and this weekend he will head up to Wisconsin.
"My visit to Nebraska went well," said the 6-foot, 182-pound Burrell. "Coach Mike Riley is a good coach and coach Stewart was at Maryland and I have a good relationship with him. I was at Maryland a few times when he was there. I know exactly the stuff that he runs.

"It was a good visit," he said. "The team they played wasn't bad. It was a good atmosphere and they have good players. I feel like they show a lot of support on the academic side and the football side."
Syracuse, Boston College, Duke, Nebraska and Wisconsin are Burrell's top five as he heads into his Wisconsin official visit.
"Coach Jones is a good coach," he said. "I haven't really talked to the head coach. I'm sure it's similar to Nebraska up there. All I can do is hope for the best and hopefully it's the best fit for my family."
Burrell will take official visits to Boston College for the Virginia Tech game, Syracuse during the first weekend in December and Duke some time in December.
"I don't really have a leader right now," said Burrell. "All of them are sticking out. All of them are good schools. I just want to have a good job if football doesn't go the way we want it to.
"It's probably going to come down to the coaching and academics," he said. "I'm not really going to look at the football side because that's just going to come."
Burrell hopes to make a decision after his official visits.
