Burkett has MAC offers, also thinks Big Ten

Toledo (Ohio) St. Johns junior offensive lineman Ben Burkett, who has played both guard and tackle the past two seasons, has won plenty of honors for his work. He was an all-city and all-district selection both years, as well as all-state this past season.
The 6-foot-4 and 260-pound Burkett has also won himself plenty of attention from recruiters.

"I have three offers," Burkett said. "Miami of Ohio, Toledo, and Akron have offered. I'm looking at all three."
However those certainly are not the only schools Burkett is hearing from and taking a look at.
"Northwestern, Purdue, I'm interested in a lot of Big Ten and MAC schools. Iowa is another one."
When asked if he has a favorite, Burkett said, "I'm pretty interested in Northwestern right now. I went to one of their junior days.
"And I went to Iowa for a game and I've been to a game at Toledo."
Burkett has made some plans for the summer.
"I'm going to Bowling Green and Toledo's camps," he said. "And possibly Michigan."
