Now the two-way standout is checking his schedule for a couple of fall unofficial visits.
Burgess-Becker has two games circled on his calender - he said he will likely attend the Florida-Miami game and Alabama-LSU SEC West battle. So what is he looking for when he visits Miami and Tuscaloosa?
"A lot of players flying around during game time," Burgess-Becker said. "Players making plays and the coaches doing their jobs. Just everyone doing their job."
Wisconsin was the latest school to offer. The Badgers had a chance to observe him at the Clear Vision Clear Dreams Camp in West Palm Beach last month. He wants to learn more about the program this season.
"Hopefully I have a chance to go up there and see the school," Burgess-Becker said. "I have the head coach's number, but I haven't had a chance to call him because of fall camp. But when I get in touch with the coach I will probably get a visit to Wisconsin."
The 2015 standout spent his sophomore season at free safety, but he will line up at quarterback and receive this year.
Alabama is the school staying in touch the most with Burgess-Becker. Tide offensive line coach Mario Cristobal has been among his most aggressive suitors.
"We talk on the phone probably twice a week. He tells me the same thing all the time, stay humble. The coaches look forward to seeing me in a Crimson Tide uniform."
He hopes to hear from Ohio State and Tennessee during his junior campaign.
