Fall camp gets underway tomorrow in the Sunshine State and for defensive back Shawn Burgess-Becker that doesn't mean recruiting will slow down.
The two-way standout his seen his recruitment soar this spring and summer capped off by a trip to Chicago for the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge.
Burgess-Becker is up to double-digit offers and he has started to trim his list. When asked about his top five? The rising junior said, "It's Alabama, Florida, LSU, and Miami in no order."
The Crimson Tide were the first to offer the big-play safety. His latest offer came from Wisconsinlast month and he wants to learn more about the Badgers program. Burgess-Becker noted, "I want to see Wisconsin first before I put them in my top five."
As a sophomore, Burgess-Becker notched 63 tackles and five interceptions from his free safety spot. This year he will likely see action at receiver. He was a standout flanker this off-season on the 7-on-7 circuit.
