Burgess-Becker impressed with OSU

Shawn Burgess-Becker is the nation's No. 5-ranked athlete in the Class of 2015, a four-star who, along with his Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch teammate, Calvin Ridley, committed to Alabama two months ago.
But how easily can Tide fans rest without wondering how secure that commitment is? At least one school is making things a little bit difficult, Burgess-Becker admitted.

"I went to Ohio State and I was really impressed," the 6-foot, 190-pound Burgess-Becker said. "I'm still just going through the process right now, and Ohio State is a big part of it."
Burgess-Becker and Ridley visited the Buckeyes last week and met coach Urban Meyer for the first time.
"We sat down and talked," Burgess-Becker said. "He was just saying me and Ridley could make a big impact at OSU and he would love to have us. It meant a lot to hear that."
Burgess-Becker said Alabama is still talking to him daily, but it appears the door may still be at least a little open.
"I like Ohio State a lot," Burgess-Becker said. "I'm not sure about Calvin."
Burgess-Becker said that "for sure" he'll be taking an official visit to Ohio State, but he's not sure when. Alabama will be his first official visit and will likely take place sometime during the season.
