Burel finds second home

Redlands (Calif.) East Valley two-star receiver/cornerback Isaiah Burel took two official visits to Idaho and Idaho State, but it was halfway through his official visit to Idaho State this weekend that he realized the Bengals were the right fit for him.
"I committed to Idaho State on Saturday," Burel said. "When I was on the trip, it felt like it was like another family for me. They had a lot to offer, and there isn't a whole lot to distract me up there. I can stay focused on football and academics."

Burel, who is 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds, was also recruited by Utah, Colorado State and Nevada and is a heck of a steal for Idaho State. Burel said he was recruited by defensive coordinator Joe Lorig.
"Coach Lorig is a real cool and honest guy," Burel said. "He's one of the biggest reasons why I'm going to Idaho State."
