Burch now set to make final choice

Dodge City (Kan.) Community College defensive tackle Steve Burch took his last trip of the recruiting process this weekend and now will enter the process of making a final decision on where he will continue his football career.
"I had a real good trip to Kansas State," the 6-foot-3, 275-pound Burch said. "I learned a lot about the program and the school. I was hosted by Kevin Huntley who was a senior on this year's team. He was injured this year but will still be getting a shot at the combine and he said that is due to his play and what he learned from the coaches at Kansas State."

Burch was offered a scholarship by the Wildcat coaches but has not made a final decision.
"I'm going to think it through and make my final choice by Wednesday. As soon as I know it, I will be telling the coaches and ready to announce it. I won't hold it until signing day if I know before.
"I'm looking at Kansas State, Cincinnati and Toledo. I was down to just Cincinnati and Toledo before this visit but it has definitely given me more to think about. I'm going to sit down and look at all of the positives of each school and try to figure out what school is the best for me."
